Wedding dance Houston

The wedding day is one of the most memorable days of your life, let’s create a special first dance moment that you will enjoy dancing for the first last time.

Customized wedding dance choreography based on traditional ballroom dancing styles, including English and Viennese waltz, tango and foxtrot, rumba, cha cha cha, samba and etc.

A dance instructor will work closely with you helping you to select your music, preparing graceful entrances/exits to and from the dance floor, to understand basic techniques that will make your dancing together more enjoyable. The dance steps you learn will keep you dancing for a lifetime.

It usually takes minimum 5 classes in order to make a dance. So for example during 3-4 weeks we may create, learn and rehearse your individual Wedding Dance.

Plan Ahead – remember that your schedule will get very hectic as your wedding day approaches. 5 classes are needed to choreograph an individual movements. However the more you practice, the more comfortable you will feel on your wedding day. Don’t wait until the last minute.

Music – select a song you like with a beat that is easy to hear, preferably not more than 2 – 2 ½ minutes in length.

Popular Dances – besides the traditional Foxtrot and the elegant Waltz, the Tango, Rumba, Salsa and Swing are all very popular at contemporary weddings.

Wedding Dress – if your dress has sleeves, make sure you can comfortably raise your arms over your head for turns and spins. Also, check the length of your wedding dress to make sure you will not be stepping on it while dancing.

Size of Dance Floor – find out the size of the reception dance floor then practice in that amount of space.

Shoes – make sure your heels won’t cause you any problems like tearing your dress or taking you off balance. You can always be wearing flat shoes during your first dance avoiding extra head ache.
